History

Construction of the Russell Mercier Senior Center was completed in 1990. Located conveniently near the Town Green, the Center is adjacent to the Stonecroft Elderly Housing Complex at the intersection of State Routes 66 and 85.

Services Offered

Health: Blood Pressure Screening; Health Tests; Foot Care
Counseling: Benefits Programs; Information Referrals; Health Insurance Choices; Caregiving Services; Family Life; Caregivers Support Group
Housing: Renter's Rebate Program; Tax Relief; Local, State, Federal Programs; Resource Center
Services: Congregate Lunch Program, Outreach/Support Groups; Tel-A-Tend; Energy Assistance
Transportation: Activity of Daily Living Trips (Monday - Friday)
Recreation: Trips - Day & Overnight; Bingo/Cards; Bridge; Birthday Parties; Musical/Comedy Programs; Craft Classes; Enrichment Group; Painting; Bowling
Education: Library; Informational Programs; Computer Classes; Senior Issues
Volunteers: Friendly Visitor; Meals on Wheels; CRT Meals; Inter-generational Program
