FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR

 The Town of Hebron is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Financial Administrator.  Under the direction of the Finance Director the Financial Administrator performs research and analysis concerning the general operating, capital projects and special revenue budgets of the Town and maintenance of the general ledgers associated with all Town funds.  Provides assistance with cash management, financial reporting and with accounts payable and payroll functions. The successful candidate should have proficiency with the use of financial accounting software and Office 365.  The successful candidate should have an associate degree in accounting or a related field or comparable experience and training and at least three years of experience and be familiar with the principles and practices of municipal accounting.  Starting salary range will be $60,000 to $65,000 depending on experience.  Resumes and a Town of Hebron employment application should be sent to Andrew J. Parks Division – Seasonal Park Maintainer I

The Town of Hebron Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a full time seasonal Maintainer I for the Parks Division. This is a 36 week position at 40 hours per week. The selected individual will perform a wide variety of semi-skilled and unskilled labor tasks for all properties under Parks and Recreation management. Specific duties will include mowing, field preparation, landscape, operation of equipment, painting, carpentry, and other related duties as assigned by the Parks & Recreation Director or designee. Qualifications include, but are not limited to, related experience and a general knowledge of tools, equipment, and work methods and practices used in the general maintenance and improvement of public parks and recreation fields, facilities and buildings. Applicants must be responsible and reliable; and must be able to pass criminal records background check and a pre-employment drug test. PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER

The Town of Hebron is seeking applicants for the position of Part Time Police Officer.   All applicants must have a current POST certification and be available to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, with the majority of shifts to be evenings and nights. PREP- Before and After School Childcare Worker Hebron Parks & Recreation Department

The Town of Hebron Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a PREP Before and After School Childcare Worker to act as a positive role model and provide guidance and leadership.  Under the direction of the Hebron Parks and Recreation Department’s Recreation Supervisor, the Before and After School staff is responsible for planning and implementing games and activities, serving snacks, and interacting with children grades Pre-K through 6th, and their families.  Hours are to include some mornings and or afternoons as well as early dismissal days and school vacation days.

PREP care hours are Monday through Friday:

AM Care- 6:45 a.m. – 8:15, 8:30 a.m.
PM Care- 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
PM Extended Care- 5:00 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The staff schedule is set by the Recreation Supervisor and is subject to change.  Applicants must be responsible and reliable, working independently as well as with a team and providing a safe, caring, and enriching environment.
