Paying Your Bill

How Do I Obtain a Motor Vehicle Clearance?
DO NOT PAY ONLINE IF YOU NEED AN IMMEDIATE MOTOR CLEARANCE
All online payments will take 3-5 business days to process before a motor vehicle clearance will be issued.
All delinquent motor vehicle taxes in your name must be paid in full with cash, bank check, or money order, in the office to obtain an immediate DMV clearance.

1) Pay on-line:

There are “convenience fees” to pay online – depending on the form of payment.  We utilize a 3rd-Party Vendor the fee is charged by them, you will be asked to review the payment and authorize/submit prior to being charged

  • E-Check (You’ll need your Routing #/Account #) $1.50
  • Visa Debit (Specific to Visa) $3.95
  • Credit Card/MC Debit 2.5% of the total charge

Payments made through our online system will not be reflected immediately on your account.  The payments are posted weekly.  If you pay online you must follow up with our office to obtain a release for DMV.  If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact our office 860-228-5971 x145 or x146.
