TOWN OF HEBRON
ASSISTANT TO ASSESSOR-REVENUE COLLECTOR
The Town of Hebron is seeking candidates to fill the full-time position of Assistant to Assessor-Revenue Collector. Responsibilities include assisting the Revenue Collector in the billing and collection of current and delinquent taxes including real estate, motor vehicle and personal property taxes as well as sewer use and assessment, and revenues from all other departments. This position is also responsible for assisting the Assessor with implementing policies and procedures to determine proper valuations of land, buildings, improvements, and all tangible personal property and motor vehicles located within the corporate limits of the town. Must have a working knowledge of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures pertinent to Town of Hebron and the State of Connecticut tax assessment and collection regulations and statutes. The successful candidate should have strong computer skills and must be able to work with the public. Familiarity with Quality Data software is preferred. PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER
The Town of Hebron is seeking applicants for the position of Part Time Police Officer. All applicants must have a current POST certification and be available to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, with the majority of shifts to be evenings and nights. PREP- Before and After School Childcare Worker Hebron Parks & Recreation Department
The Town of Hebron Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a PREP Before and After School Childcare Worker to act as a positive role model and provide guidance and leadership. Under the direction of the Hebron Parks and Recreation Department’s Recreation Supervisor, the Before and After School staff is responsible for planning and implementing games and activities, serving snacks, and interacting with children grades Pre-K through 6th, and their families. Hours are to include some mornings and or afternoons as well as early dismissal days and school vacation days.
PREP care hours are Monday through Friday:
AM Care- 6:45 a.m. – 8:15, 8:30 a.m.
PM Care- 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
PM Extended Care- 5:00 p.m. – 6 p.m.
The staff schedule is set by the Recreation Supervisor and is subject to change. Applicants must be responsible and reliable, working independently as well as with a team and providing a safe, caring, and enriching environment. The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal record background check.
