SENIOR SERVICES DIAL-A-RIDE DRIVER
The Russell Mercier Senior Center in Hebron is seeking a full-time dial-a-ride driver to be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multi-passenger handicapped-accessible buses to transport seniors and disabled adults to medical appointments, shopping, and various locations as part of the Town of Hebron’s Dial-a-Ride service. Must have a high school diploma or GED and more than one year of multi-passenger vehicle experience. Must have and maintain a valid Connecticut CDL Class C driver license with Public Service Passenger Endorsement F; must attain CPR, AED and First Aid certifications within one year. Driver is responsible for pre-trip bus inspections and ensures that wheelchair lifts and buses are serviced and maintained. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays with flexibility to adjust hours as needed. HEBRON POLICE – SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
The Town of Hebron is currently accepting applications for part-time and full-time School Resource Officers to provide service to the two (2) elementary schools in the Town of Hebron. This position will be working within the elementary schools with children from Pre-K to Sixth Grade. Minimum requirements include: At least five (5) years of experience as a Connecticut POST Certified Officer or recently retired Officer or State Trooper (in good standing), valid Connecticut driver license, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to meet or exceed all entry exams including but not limited to written exam, oral exam, physical agility, extensive background investigation, psychological exam, polygraph exam, physical exam and a drug screen.
