Hebron 2021 Revaluation
Hebron has conducted and implemented the State mandated, town wide revaluation for the October 1, 2021 Grand List. We contracted with eQuality Valuation Services from Waterbury CT to assist in the process. This revaluation was an update and did not require all properties to have a full inspection. Data mailers had been sent to all improved properties which listed details such as style of house, room count and special features. The participation of property owners was critical in this phase of the process, and we received a large percentage of returns, assisting in our goals to ensure that the data is correct so accurate values can be applied to all properties. The tax amounts for bills that will be due July 1, 2022, should not be calculated using the current mill rate; the Board of Finance will not set a new mill rate until the budget is passed through referendum, usually in May.
The next revaluation the Town will go through will be for the October 1, 2026 Grand List year.
