Real Estate Tax Bills will be mailed Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Residents should be receiving these bills shortly. The online payment option will be live beginning on July 1, 2026. If you do not receive a bill please contact the Tax Collector’s Office at 860-228-5971 x 145. 

The Douglas Library is available to serve as a cooling shelter during normal business hours.

Hours for the week of 6/29 to 7/3 are:

Mon 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Tue 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Wed 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Thu 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

The Douglas Library is closed Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th.
