Board of Assessment Appeals

The Board of Assessment Appeals is an elected board made up of 3 members.  The board meets twice a year, once in March and then again in September.  The September meeting is only to hear appeals for Motor Vehicles. To file for an appeal, you must submit to the Assessor’s Office a written application for appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals, on or before February 20th and they or their agent must appear in person before the Board.
