Application Procedures
First and foremost, it also is best to set up an appointment with the relevant town staff person and ask any questions regarding a new application to the towns land use commissions or with any procedure or process of which is unfamiliar to you. We will assist you with the process and explain what information and documentation is required.
For applications to the land use commissions, most often a complete set of plans documenting all naturally existing features and proposed activities will be required. This most often will require the services of a licensed surveyor or engineer. Application forms and fees are required with all requests. All forms and checklists are available at the planning office.
Often the most frustrating portion of the process is a delay that is avoidable. By reviewing your proposal early with the Town Planner, most of the delay can be kept to a minimum and we can guide you through the process in the most efficient and effective manner.
