Animal Control Officer

Mission
The Animal Control Officer investigates complaints and concerns about roaming and nuisance dogs, dog bites, cruelty and neglect cases, injured dogs and situations involving possible rabid animal exposure of humans or domestic animals. Verbal or written warnings, infractions or misdemeanor summons may be issued pursuant to Chapter 435 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
